Deputy Commander of Chechen OMON Platoon Arrested in Moscow

A Moscow court has arrested Umar Chichaev, deputy commander of the Chechen OMON platoon "Akhmat-1" of the Russian Guard Directorate, until November 18. He is involved in the case of the shooting at the Wildberries office.

Umar Chichaev is a European and world champion in taekwondo. As the Agency found out, he played for Kadyrov's clubs "Berkut" and "Akhmat".

According to the investigation, a group of attackers, including Chichaev, led by Vladislav Bakalchuk, arrived at the company's office on Romanov Lane "to influence the management's decision to transfer 49% of the shares of the Russ company free of charge." Bakalchuk's hearing will be held on September 21.
