Enforcement proceedings have been initiated against Khabib Nurmagomedov

Bailiffs of the Russian Federation, at the request of the tax service, initiated enforcement proceedings against the ex-champion of the Fighting Championship (UFC), a native of Dagestan, Khabib Nurmagomedov. The document shows a debt amount of 79.2 million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the Federal Tax Service blocked Nurmagomedov’s accounts due to a debt of almost 297 million rubles. He himself does not comment on the situation.

At the end of June, security forces conducted searches at Nurmagomedov’s father’s martial arts school in Makhachkala. They were connected with the investigation of a terrorist attack in which Gadzhimurad Kagirov, who trained at the school, participated. Khabib Nurmagomedov said that he did not consider the terrorist a student of the school, although he admitted that he studied there for some time.

It was also reported that Nurmagomedov is a citizen of the UAE. He hides the presence of a foreign passport, the Dossier center reported. For the past 10 years, the athlete has crossed the US border with his UAE passport. According to the Emirati law, which was in force until 2021, he could only obtain citizenship of this country by renouncing Russian citizenship.
