TBILISI, July 24 — Tbilisi and much of Georgia were left without electricity overnight after a major disruption to the country’s power grid, according to preliminary information. Authorities have not yet identified the cause of the outage.

A 26-year-old resident of Magas has become the subject of a criminal case involving high treason. According to the FSB, he collaborated with representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (GUR) and maintained the operation of SIM-box equipment used by Ukrainian fraudulent call centers.

Mansur Soltaev, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Chechnya, has urged the republic's residents to exercise caution on social media and refrain from sharing materials of a terrorist or extremist nature. He noted that even reposting content without adding one's own commentary could lead to legal consequences.

The US House Committee on Foreign Affairs supported the call for Azerbaijan to immediately release Armenian prisoners of war and other detainees.
