Ten National Guard officers arrested for bribery in North Ossetia

The number of National Guard officers arrested in North Ossetia in connection with bribery has reached 10, with three more under house arrest.

On October 27, as part of its investigation into corruption within the North Ossetian National Guard Directorate, the Investigative Committee charged three officers: duty officer Kh. I. Zaseyev, OMON police officer T. V. Tsallagov, and SOBR "Nart" detective G. S. Arunov. The Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz sentenced them to pretrial detention for one month and five days.

Earlier, Major General of Police Valery Golota, head of the republic's National Guard Directorate, was detained on suspicion of bribery. Several of his subordinates were also detained.
