In 2021, the driver of a motorized rifle battalion published a commentary in connection with the coronavirus and the restrictive measures introduced by the authorities. There was a publication in the public page “ChP/Vladikavkaz” that stated that the parliament of North Ossetia would hold an extraordinary session to vote for the bill on QR codes. The news was accompanied by a photo of parliament, and a man commented on the post: “Someone burn down this sauna.”

The military man is under recognizance not to leave the place. He faces 5 to 7 years in prison.
