An explosion occurred near a military unit in the 204th Quarter neighborhood of Stavropol. A local resident was injured. The incident occurred near the 247th Airborne Assault Regiment.

RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in emergency services, that the explosives were planted at a public transportation stop; shrapnel injured a woman passing by in the leg. The explosive device was concealed in a baby stroller.

FSB officers have also reportedly detained a suspect in the incident.
