The Putin District was established in June 2024. Large-scale construction of apartment buildings, kindergartens, schools, and other social facilities is underway within its boundaries. It has become Grozny's fifth district, joining Akhmatovsky, Baysangurovsky, Visaitovsky, and Sheikh-Mansurovsky (formerly Leninsky, Oktyabrsky, Staropromyslovsky, and Zavodsky).
