A Putin Court has been established in the capital of Chechnya

The Supreme Court of Russia has approved the creation of a Putin District Court in Grozny. A corresponding bill has been approved for submission to the State Duma.

The new court proposes five judge positions and 16 staff positions.

The Putin District was established in June 2024. Large-scale construction of apartment buildings, kindergartens, schools, and other social facilities is underway within its boundaries. It has become Grozny's fifth district, joining Akhmatovsky, Baysangurovsky, Visaitovsky, and Sheikh-Mansurovsky (formerly Leninsky, Oktyabrsky, Staropromyslovsky, and Zavodsky).
