A young man died in the capital of the KChR after a tree fell from a strong wind

On the eve of the strongest hurricane with rain and hail hit Cherkessk, the capital of Karachay-Cherkessia. As a result, several people were injured. One of them died: a tree fell on the car, where there was a 25-year-old guy.

Of the six victims, five received minor injuries. Another one is hospitalized.

According to the head of the KChR, Rashid Temrezov, power lines were torn in Cherkessk, roofs and facades of buildings were damaged, and houses were flooded. A state of emergency has been introduced in the region, and an operational headquarters has been created. Emergency services all night eliminated the consequences of the elements.
Residents and guests of Cherkessk are advised to be vigilant and careful, drivers should not park under trees and poorly fortified structures, and pedestrians should avoid rickety buildings.
