The Second Western District Military Court sentenced Ingush natives Ramazan Padiyev and Batukhan Tochiyev to 18 and 22 years in a maximum-security penal colony. According to Kommersant, they were found guilty of complicity in the terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia's Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Defense (RCBD) forces, and his adjutant, Ilya Polikarpov.

In the Ukrainian Melitopol, controlled by the Russian army, fighters of the Chechen battalion "Akhmat-Vostok" beat up Russian soldiers who asked them for documents at a checkpoint, also threatening to use weapons.
In the video, in response to the demands of servicemen at a checkpoint in Melitopol near the Kvartal shopping center, the battalion commander and his subordinates beat the military police who stopped their motorcade.
