The political party led by former Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has decided to retake parliamentary seats. This was announced at a briefing by one of its leaders, Giorgi Sharashidze, and later by the party's leader.

Georgian citizens David Gogodze, Beso Lomidze and Soso Gugutishvili, who took part in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, died in the Avdeevka area of the Donetsk region. In total, according to a number of sources, since the beginning of the “SVO”, 66 citizens of Georgia and citizens of Ukraine of Georgian origin have died in battles on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The day before, the Georgian State Security Service issued a statement saying that the opposition wants to overthrow the government. Allegedly, the criminal plans involve citizens of Georgia who are abroad, in particular, fighting in Ukraine, and are ready to come and participate in violence against the police.
Earlier, the Georgian Legion, which is fighting in Ukraine, welcomed Georgia’s receipt of EU candidate status. This was stated by the unit commander Mamuka Mamulashvili.
