Georgia and Azerbaijan are striving to simplify border crossings: the parties plan to introduce a single-window system at joint border crossings.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned the unfriendly statements of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. It is noted that his statements recently “are difficult to distinguish from the rhetoric of the Russian leadership.”
Kyiv called on the Georgian authorities to refrain from such statements and once again emphasized support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
“It is not Ukraine, which defends itself, but exclusively Russia, which treacherously attacked our land, that is responsible for thousands of lost lives, the destruction of Ukrainian cities and villages. The Russian Federation must be punished for crimes committed in Ukraine, Georgia and other countries over the past decades,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, Irakli Kobakhidze drew a parallel between the Kyiv Maidan and the events developing in Georgia. “I want to tell everyone that no one in Georgia will wait for the Maidan. Let me remind you what the results of Maidan were for Ukraine. Then, in reality, the government of Ukraine was appointed from the outside, first once, then again. Until 2013, Ukraine was a country with territorial integrity and an economy of $200 billion. Today this country is a collapsed country,” Kobakhidze noted.
