In Crimea, police officers issued human rights activist Abdureshit Dzhepparov a warning against violating the law. Law enforcement officials explained the document's origins in connection with the upcoming holiday on May 9th, but such actions typically occur shortly before the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatar People (May 18th).
Four more residents of Chechnya died in the SVO zone
The names of more residents of Chechnya who died in the war with Ukraine have been named. These are the commander of the Akhmat platoon Adam Sadulaev, Interior Ministry employee Magomed Bachaev, volunteer Imam Idalov and Defense Ministry serviceman Zelimkhan Khazhikhanov. Their death was confirmed by a report from the Grozny Department of Education in Grozny.
Officially, at least 169 servicemen from Chechnya were killed in the SVO. As for the residents of the North Caucasus Federal District, at least 1,500 people have been confirmed dead. The largest number is in Dagestan – 713.
