The Georgian authorities emphasized that the Russian Federation is an occupier and an enemy

Russia is an occupier and enemy of Georgia, and Tbilisi does not conduct any secret dialogue with Moscow. This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Levan Davitashvili, speaking in parliament.

“The Georgian government has not conceded anything to Russia over the past 10 years. If we want to call everything by its proper name and speak clearly about the occupation, then I tell you: yes, Russia is an occupier, yes, Russia is an enemy, yes, Russia is guilty, and we do not compromise against Russia to the detriment of the interests of Georgia,” noted Levan Davitashvili.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin was recently present at the “One Belt, One Road” forum in Beijing. The Georgian delegation also spoke exclusively at the invitation of the President of the People's Republic of China.
