The Ingush authorities spent almost a billion rubles to support the "SVO"

The total amount of financial resources sent by Ingushetia to support the special military operation amounted to 908.5 million rubles. This was reported by the head of the region, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, as part of his address to the regional People's Assembly.

According to the head of the republic, over 590 tons of material assistance were sent to military personnel during the entire period of the "SVO". In 2023, on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a branch of the state fund "Defenders of the Fatherland" was opened in Ingushetia.

Ingushetia is one of the poorest regions of the Russian Federation. According to Rosstat, it ranks last in terms of population income and socio-economic development, as well as last in unemployment.
