The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has published a report alleging that Georgian authorities used chemical weapons during the suppression of pro-European protests in Tbilisi in 2024. The chemical weapon in question is bromobenzyl cyanide, a chemical warfare agent dating back to World War I, also known as "kamit."
Authorities estimate price increase in CFR at 11.4%
Inflation in February amounted to 11.46%. This is slightly higher than the increase in prices in Russia as a whole (10.9%), according to the Central Bank of Russia.
The most noticeable decline in inflation (up to 12.2%) was observed in Chechnya. Dagestan has the lowest rate of 10.6%. This was influenced by the growth of milk and dairy products production. The highest inflation rate in the district, as before, was observed in Ingushetia - 17.6%. The self-sufficiency of the Republic in food and non-food items is lower than in the other members of the Collective Security Forces.
