Overnight into September 15, drones and missiles were launched from Ukraine at several Russian regions, including those in the south.
Rostov Region Governor Yury Slyusar stated that "Taganrog was subjected to a massive missile attack."
"As a result of the missile attack, damage was sustained by: the windows of two apartment buildings and three private homes, an educational institution, a commercial building, a gas pipeline (utility services were not affected), agricultural warehouses, a grocery store, and an Ozon warehouse," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Ukrainian monitoring channels also report a strike on the Beriev Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex, where military aircraft undergo repairs. The plant was last hit in November of last year. The monitoring channel Exilenova+, citing data from NASA FIRMS, points to fires on the complex's premises.
Taganrog Mayor Svetlana Kambulova reported "three fire sites" resulting from the overnight raid but did not provide further details.
The marketplace's management confirmed damage to the Ozon warehouse. The company stated that all employees were evacuated and there were no injuries. It was noted that the logistics center was not accepting deliveries from sellers at the time but held certain goods that will now be redistributed to other locations.
On the evening of September 14, the Telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ published evidence of an attack on the Sebryakovcement plant in the Volgograd Region—a claim corroborated by eyewitnesses in local online communities. Regional authorities did not comment on the attack, and it was not included in the Russian Defense Ministry's report.
In total, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 222 drones were destroyed over the country's regions overnight into Tuesday. According to the Telegram channel ASTRA, a Rosneft oil refinery in Syzran, Samara Region, caught fire following a drone attack. A parking lot caught fire in Kursk, and drone debris damaged residential buildings in the Voronezh Region; there were no casualties.
Kyiv reports that, during the same night, Russian forces once again used the military training ground in Millerovo, Rostov Region, to launch strikes against Ukraine. The capital and three regions—Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv—were targeted. There are reports of fatalities and injuries.
