Ingushetia resident who claimed to have been tortured sentenced to 12 years
Bagaudin Yevloyev, a resident of Ingushetia, was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime colony on charges of participating in «Imarat Caucasus» organization and possession of weapons. He had previously alleged torture in detention.
According to the investigation, Bagaudin Yevloyev was a member of a terrorist organization, provided assistance to members of the NVF, sought housing for them, and supplied them with food. After his detention, relatives reported that he had been tortured. The man had opened his wrists and abdomen and had to sign a confession. In addition, Yevloyev was threatened with problems with his family, wife and mother. His lawyers claimed that he had been tortured again, so he had to call an ambulance
