At about 9 o'clock in the morning in the city of Argun, the Russian military blocked the village of a sugar factory with the help of armored vehicles and carried out a “cleansing” operation there. They took almost all the men out of their houses, after which they took (more precisely, drove) more than 150 of them to the territory of the city commandant’s office. At the same time, the military beat both men and women. The latter for trying to stand up for loved ones. The further fate of those detained by the Memorial Human Rights Center is unknown.
