A Kabardino-Balkarian resident was convicted again for deserting his military unit

According to the Nalchik Garrison Military Court, serviceman Temirkan Bakhov was found guilty of failing to report for duty. He was sentenced to three years and six months in a general regime penal colony.

According to the indictment, Bakhov failed to report to his military unit at the appointed time on February 10, 2026. On February 22, he voluntarily reported to the military pretrial detention center in Nalchik.

In sentencing, the court took into account Bakhov's previous two-year suspended sentence for a similar offense. The final sentence was determined based on the cumulative sentences. The defendant fully admitted his guilt.
