In Makhachkala, people blocked the street for the fourth time in a week due to power outages. The city administration each time promises to take the situation under control, but the problems remain unchanged.

The mayor of Makhachkala, Umavov, said that the reason for the outages was a malfunction of the elements of the power grid, and until August 21, the city grids were tasked with replacing the failed components. To do this, emergency teams from neighboring regions will arrive in Dagestan.

Earlier, the head of Dagestan, Melikov, called the protests illegal and promised to stop them.
