Ingushetia resident accused of justifying terrorism

Security forces have detained a 24-year-old girl in Ingushetia. She is accused of justifying and promoting terrorist activity in Telegram channels.

According to investigators, the detainee administered a number of channels in which she published materials in support of international terrorist organizations. Among them are the Caucasus Emirate, Vilayat Galgaiche, and Amiran Gurazhev's group. He and five other people were killed on March 3, 2024, in Karabulak during a counter-terrorism operation. For about 12 hours, they blocked an apartment in a multi-story building and were eliminated by Russian security forces.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activity, justification or propaganda of terrorism). The suspect faces up to 7 years in prison.
