Abdulmumin Gadzhiev and other political prisoners were transferred from the Grozny pretrial detention center
The editor of the Dagestani newspaper "Chernovik" Abdulmumin Gadzhiev, businessman Kemal Tambiev and lawyer Abubakar Rizvanov were transferred from the Grozny pretrial detention center. This was reported by the Memorial Human Rights Defense Center.

The political prisoners are in transit from the Pyatigorsk pretrial detention center. It is known that Gadzhiev will be sent to serve his sentence in the "Vladimir Central", known as a prison for especially dangerous criminals, Rizvanov - to Krasnoyarsk, Tambiev - to Chelyabinsk.

Last year, Abdulmumin Gadzhiev was sentenced to 16 years 10 months in prison, Abubakar Rizvanov - to 17 years 10 months, Kemal Tambiev - to 17 years 4 months. The prosecution claimed that Gadzhiev supported ISIS terrorists with a transfer of 16 thousand rubles. All three were found guilty of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization and organizing its financing. The convicted persons themselves do not admit guilt.

Human rights activists claim that the criminal case is fabricated: the materials contain about 200 deliberate distortions, falsifications and violations. The real reason for the prosecution was most likely the journalistic work of Gadzhiev and Chernovik.
