The Kyiv District Court of Simferopol remanded four Crimean Tatar women: Esma Nimetulayeva, Elviza Aliyeva, Nasiba Saidova, and Fevziye Osmanova, in pretrial detention for two months. The hearing was held behind closed doors, with limited access for support.

The Qualification Commission of the Bar Association of the Tyumen Region stripped Alexey Ladin of his professional status. The commission found that he violated lawyer ethics due to two administrative cases brought against him.
Ladin's home was searched in October last year, after which he was arrested for 14 days under the article on demonstrating prohibited symbols. The protocol was drawn up due to a 2018 Facebook post in which experts found symbols of the Noman Çelebidžihan Battalion, which is recognized as a terrorist organization.
Ladin was then fined 45 thousand rubles due to another post from 2022. The lawyer reposted the article “A Day in the Capital of the ‘Russian World’”, accompanying the publication with the hashtag #НЕЕТВЕЙНЕ.
Alexey Ladin is a lawyer for many Crimean political prisoners, in particular Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians accused of terrorism and extremism.
“This is persecution for his professional activities. Everyone knows that Alexey is leading high-profile criminal cases involving security forces and accusing people under articles related to extremism and terrorism. At the moment, Ladin is defending Ukrainian prisoners of war,” shared lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.
