Speaking in the European Parliament, Nikol Pashinyan identified the lack of active dialogue between the EU and Georgia as the main obstacle to Armenia's European integration. According to the Prime Minister, Georgia is a strategic 'bridge', and its candidate status has prompted Yerevan to begin the EU accession process.

The Russian delegation thanked Baku for its prompt assistance in evacuating its citizens from Iran amid the tense situation in the region. As part of the agreements reached by the two leaders at their meeting in Dushanbe on October 9, 2025, the prompt implementation of a set of practical measures to resolve the consequences of the AZAL plane crash on December 25, 2024, was confirmed.
Furthermore, prospects for the development of the region's transport infrastructure were discussed, including work on the North-South international transport corridor, as well as a number of humanitarian initiatives.
Azerbaijani media reports that the meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, with the parties reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening trade, economic, investment, industrial, and logistical cooperation.
