Overnight into September 13, Ukrainian drones attacked Russian territory, including southern regions and occupied Crimea. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 389 UAVs over 14 regions, as well as over the waters of the Black, Azov, and Caspian Seas.

In Krasnodar Krai, the Slavyansk-ECO oil refinery was struck by drones. The Telegram channel Astra reported the strike on the facility in Slavyansk-na-Kubani after analyzing footage of the impact. Ukrainian intelligence confirmed the information; the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) stated that a key oil processing unit and the facility's tank farm were hit. The agency claimed that smoke and the glow from the massive fire were visible from tens of kilometers away.

Local authorities reported a fire at an industrial facility—without specifying which one—and stated that a gas pipeline and four private homes were damaged during the raid. One person was injured.

The governor of the Rostov region reported that 60 drones were shot down over the region overnight. Attacks were repelled in the Belokalitvinsky, Millerovsky, Verkhnedonskoy, Milyutinsky, Kamensky, Sholokhovsky, Tarasovsky, Chertkovsky, Azovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, Orlovsky, and Tatsinsky districts. In the latter, dry grass caught fire due to falling drone debris; the fire has since been extinguished. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties.

Additionally, overnight into Sunday, drones attacked the industrial zone of Nizhnekamsk in Tatarstan, an area where major Russian oil refineries are concentrated. Ukrainian monitoring channels reported the incident. By all indications, this refers to the Nizhnekamsk oil refining complex, which includes the Taneko refinery. The TAIF-NK refinery and the Nizhnekamskneftekhim facility are also located in the city.

Refineries in Nizhnekamsk and Slavyansk have previously been targeted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
