The Chechen opposition movement NIYSO, recognized as extremist in Russia, reported that young people arriving in Grozny to enroll in universities are being redirected to the military enlistment office and drafted into military service. This information has not yet been confirmed by other sources, and regional authorities are refraining from comment.
The commander of the volunteer formation "Akhmat", deputy chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the RF Armed Forces, Apti Alaudinov, called the Lexus driver, who was parked on the Mariupol beach next to the vacationers, a "sub-Chechen" and a "sub-man".
“If he had been among those who liberated Mariupol and other settlements of Donbass, and had seen the bodies of his comrades lying nearby, he would not have been such a nit,” Alaudinov said. He said that he conveyed the information to the leadership of Chechnya.
Earlier, a video appeared in which a native of Chechnya parked a Lexus on a sandy beach in Mariupol. Citizens called on the driver to drive away the SUV, but he refused. Later, the man told reporters that he was provoked into a conflict. He added that the “video without clippings” will show “who behaved rudely, called names, cursed and was drunk.”
