The Armenian opposition proposed to refuse the services of Russian peacekeepers, taking into account the instability in the Russian Federation

The Armenian opposition movement "National Democratic Pole" called on the United States, France and other countries to send international peacekeepers to Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the applicants, the Russian peacekeepers are not capable of fulfilling their obligations, taking into account the mutinies that have begun in the Russian Federation itself.

The day before, NDP activists held a rally near the US and French embassies in Yerevan. "Recent events in Russia have shown that security in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) is fragile, and Russian peacekeepers not only do not fulfill their obligations, but at any moment, based on the unstable situation in their country, they can leave the region," the statement says. in a letter to the organization.

According to the Armenian opposition, the presence of international peacekeepers is necessary to preserve the security and rights of the residents of Karabakh. The protesters also called on the residents of Karabakh to apply to the above-mentioned states with the same request.
