The United Kingdom has declared its readiness to counter attempts by Russia and other external forces to interfere in Armenia's electoral process. Minister of State Lio Doughty emphasized that London is committed to supporting electoral integrity and the security of the information environment during elections.
A peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku could be signed within a few months. Active work on the document is currently underway. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced this at the Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi.
“The Crossroads of the World project proposed by Armenia will become an integral part of peace in the South Caucasus. A unit is being created in the law enforcement agencies of Armenia to ensure the security of future transport communications in the region,” Pashinyan shared. Also, according to him, positive progress may soon occur towards opening the border with Turkey for citizens of third countries and diplomats. The politician noted that the functioning of the Armenian-Turkish border will benefit the overall regional situation.
