Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has been placed under a travel ban. He remains free, but cannot leave the country without permission, according to the press service of the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia.

Several people have been detained in Adygea and Kabardino-Balkaria on terrorism charges, the Russian Federal Security Service reported. The agency provided no evidence of the detainees' guilt.

On the night of August 26, the Rostov Oblast was subjected to a massive drone attack. According to Governor Yuri Slyusar, approximately 40 drones were destroyed over Taganrog and seven districts of the region: Tarasovsky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Sholokhovsky, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, Kasharsky, and Bokovsky.

Over 113,000 people and over 33,000 vehicles crossed the Russian-Georgian border through the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint in a week, the North Ossetia head of state's press service reported, citing Irbek Tomayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic.
