Azerbaijani Army to Participate in NATO Exercises
Azerbaijan will take part in the NATO-Georgia-2025 military exercises, which will begin on April 28 at the Krtsanisi base. This is a training center for the Georgian Armed Forces south of Tbilisi in the area of ​​the village of the same name.
 
Albania, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey and the United States will also take part in the military training. Armenia will be present as an observer. The maneuvers will be led by the command of the Italian Vittorio Veneto Division. Its delegation is currently visiting Tbilisi as part of the preparatory activities.
 
The day before, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Kerim Veliyev took part in a meeting of the Chiefs of Staff of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels. Speaking at the meeting, Veliyev informed his colleagues about the prospects for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO. He also noted that Azerbaijan intends to continue making a significant contribution to international peace and security as a partner country that has restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
 
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte congratulated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on the upcoming New Year, and in early January, Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani was invited to a meeting of the contact group on Ukraine at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
