According to a report from the Accounts Chamber, the industrial production index declined in 38 Russian regions in the first six months of this year, but the most significant decline occurred in two republics of the North Caucasus. Dagestan recorded a 16% decline, while North Ossetia saw a 21.8% decline.

For the first time in over three decades, the Georgian Young Lawyers' Association has announced that it will not be able to carry out an observation mission for the local government elections scheduled for October 4, 2025.
The non-governmental organization emphasizes that the current elections are taking place in one of the most challenging political and legal contexts in the country's modern history. According to human rights activists, "the rollback of democracy in the country, repressive policies against civil society organizations and media, the adoption of restrictive laws, and the deterioration of the legal framework for observers" make it impossible to fully establish a mission.
Despite this, the organization stated that it will continue its work to protect human rights and the rule of law, providing the public with regular assessments of the current legal situation.
