Azerbaijan has refused to participate in the Russian Intervision, Armenia has not confirmed its participation

Armenia has not yet confirmed its participation in the Intervision music festival in Moscow, but Azerbaijan has already refused. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to him, Russia would be happy to see Armenian performers, "why they are not there is not a question for us."
"Azerbaijan's refusal to participate in the Intervision music contest is a "continuation of the general policy of moving away from Russia," Elena Drapeko, First Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Culture, previously stated.
The Intervision contest as an alternative to the European Eurovision will be held on September 20. The event will be broadcast live on Channel One.
