Baku accused Yerevan of another shelling of Azerbaijani positions

Armenian units opened fire on the positions of the Azerbaijani army in Nakhichevan. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported this today. Armenia, however, denied this statement.

According to the Azerbaijani military department, today at 3.55 am the positions of the country's military personnel located in the direction of the Sadarak region of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic came under fire from the Armenian military. Small arms were used in the attack. The shelling was carried out from positions located in the direction of the Daveli region (Ararat region).

The Azerbaijani military took retaliatory measures, according to the website of the defense department. The Armenian Ministry of Defense, in turn, published a statement on its website that Azerbaijan’s message “does not correspond to reality.”
