An undercover blogger criticizing Kadyrov was fined for an "extremist" publication in Telegram
The Sheikh-Mansurovsky court in Grozny found Chechen opposition blogger Hasan Khalytov guilty of spreading extremist materials. The reason was a publication in his Telegram channel, found by employees of Center "E" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chechnya.

As a result of the consideration of the case, in which the defendant himself did not participate due to his residence abroad, he was fined 10,000 rubles - this is the minimum punishment provided by the relevant article. It is reported that this happened back in the summer, but the court decision was published only now.

In 2018, the article on extremism was transferred from the Criminal Code to the Administrative Code, however, for a repeated offense within a year, the defendant may face a criminal case.

As a reminder, in April 2022, one of the Khalytov brothers was forcibly sent to the "SVO" zone. Earlier, the blogger stated that he had received a photo of a naked sister who was detained in Chechnya, with a demand to stop criticizing the authorities of the republic. In the summer of last year, the man claimed to have kidnapped his other relatives.

In December 2024, Hasan Khalytov was included in the Ministry of Justice register of "foreign agents".
