At 10 p.m. Ramzan Lemievich Taramov, born in 1964, left the house to smoke and did not return. clothes (sports tights and slippers). The search was postponed until dawn. In the morning, during a survey of neighbors, it turned out that at the intersection of Karaev and Bagration streets, six military men stopped a man at night. He tried to explain something, but he was interrupted: “Silence! Shut your mouth!” and took me away to Lenina street. After a while there was a dull bang.
Relatives examined all the empty houses and basements, interviewed everyone living around, searched for the missing person wherever possible. We applied to the Oktyabrsky VOVD and the District Department of Internal Affairs, to the district commandant's office, to the prosecutor's office in Grozny, to the prosecutor of the Chechen Republic, to V. Kalamanov's bureau, but all to no avail. There is no news about Ramzan Taramov, his whereabouts and fate are unknown. His sister, Zara, is sure that he was indeed detained by the Russian military patrolling at night. In connection with the anniversary of the capture of Grozny by the VF CRI (August 6, 1996), an enhanced regime was declared in the city, and these days they grabbed everyone without understanding.
