Berlin has recalled its ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, for consultations. The decision, made by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadepoel, is intended to determine how to proceed, the ministry announced.

In Dagestan, there are over 130 detainees in pre-trial detention center No. 1 on suspicion of participating in mass riots at Makhachkala airport on October 29. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Public Monitoring Commission (POC) Shamil Khadulaev.
“They are spreading a fake that they allegedly released the guys from pre-trial detention center No. 1 due to the events at the airport, limiting them to fines and arrests of up to 10 days. In fact, it’s not that they weren’t released - more detainees were added, and there are now more than 130 people in the detention center. There are also those who are invited to the regional departments for investigations, but the guys hide,” Khadulaev wrote in his telegram channel.
Earlier, he noted that the relatives of those arrested do not agree with the charges brought against them of organizing and participating in mass riots. Many simply watched from the sidelines and regret that they were at the airport at that moment.
On October 29, residents of Dagestan stormed the Makhachkala airport demanding that passengers on a flight from Tel Aviv not be allowed into the city. The action took place as part of the response to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
