Rallies in honor of the Independence Day of Ichkeria were held in European countries

Today, in honor of Ichkeria's Independence Day, representatives of the Chechen diaspora held rallies in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Turkey. This was reported by "Caucasus. Realities". Exactly 32 years ago, the National Congress of the Chechen People declared the independence of the republic.

In Strasbourg, France, people went to the building of the European Parliament with the flags of Ichkeria and Ukraine. According to the rally organizer, Honorary Consul of the unrecognized Chechen Republic of Ichkeria in France Shamil Albakov, more than 20 people gathered here. As part of the action, a resolution was adopted containing a brief excursion into the history of the formation of Ichkeria in the early 1990s.

"The Russian Federation, which was formed as a state two years after the Chechen people recreated their sovereign independent state, in 1994 and 1999 committed two aggressions against the sovereign Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, committed genocide of the Chechen people and military occupation of the Chechen state, which continues to this day. day," the document sent to international organizations and the parliament of the EU countries says.

The representative of Ichkeria in Austria, Roza Dunaeva, said that in recent years, not only Chechens, but also Ukrainians, as well as representatives of public organizations, have come out with flags in support of the independence of the republic. She also expressed hope that “there will be another victory and another independence.”
