Chechnya and Ingushetia became leaders in road traffic deaths

For the first six months of 2023, on average in the Russian Federation, there are 8 deaths per 100 road accident victims. At the same time, in Chechnya and Ingushetia, the figure was 20 and 19 dead, which are records in the country. This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Kalmykia ranked third (16 deaths per 100 injured in road accidents). The death rate in car accidents was also higher than the national average in the first half of the year in Dagestan (11.9), KChR (10.9) and Stavropol (9.6).
