Chechnya is recognized as the worst region of the Russian Federation for transparency of government procurement

Chechnya took last, 85th place in the National Government Procurement Transparency Rating. It allows you to see the state of the government procurement system, obtain quantitative estimates of financial losses of budgets, and the participation of small and medium-sized businesses.

83rd place was taken by the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, 79th by the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, and 77th by North Ossetia. The best situation in the North Caucasus Federal District is in Ingushetia. The Republic took 34th place and is included in the group of regions with high transparency of government procurement. Above this category is only the group with guaranteed procurement transparency, which includes Moscow, Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, Tambov, Saratov, Smolensk, Tyumen regions, Sevastopol and Yakutia.

The efficiency criteria for public procurement include the number of bidders, the number of completed purchases, the level of reduction in the starting price of auctions, the share of canceled procedures, and the total share of contracts for small businesses.
