Four Dagestani residents detained on terrorism charges

Four Dagestani residents were detained on suspicion of organizing and participating in a terrorist group in the city of Derbent. According to security forces, accomplices of the suspects were previously detained in this case.

In particular, on October 7, it was reported that three Dagestani residents had been detained on a similar matter. They allegedly created a cell of an unnamed "international extremist association."

As for the current event, in April, the suspects allegedly created a terrorist cell in Derbent with the aim of committing attacks. The Mash Gor Telegram channel named the alleged defendants: Agahan Alibegov, Devlet Ismailov, Alim Guzhaev, and Kamil Selimov.
