Dagestan Ranks Among Russia’s Leaders in Demand for Countryside Getaways

Dagestan has made it into the top five Russian regions for country house bookings for the summer of 2026. This was reported by *AiF-Dagestan*, citing data from the service Avito Travel.

The list of the ten most popular regions also includes the Moscow and Leningrad regions, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, the Chelyabinsk region, the Altai Republic, and the Samara and Orenburg regions. According to the service's analysts, Russians booked country houses 14% more frequently during the June–August period compared to the same period in 2025.

At the same time, a drop in the cost of summer vacations in Makhachkala had previously been reported. According to *Expert Yug*, accommodation prices in the capital of Dagestan for the summer of 2026 were 11% lower than the previous year's rates.
