Deputies threatened with blood feud by Kadyrov ignore State Duma sessions

State Duma deputies Bekkhan Barakhoyev from Ingushetia and Rizvan Kurbanov from Dagestan have stopped attending plenary sessions. Earlier, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, declared blood feud against them both.

Bekkhan Barakhoyev handed over the card for voting on bills to a colleague so that he would imitate his presence. It is known that on the day of the State Duma session on October 16, Barakhoyev was in Ingushetia: Fortanga reported on his meeting with the public in Malgobek.

Kurbanov was also absent and did not participate in the voting at all. The last time he made himself known was on October 11, when he published a video on his Telegram channel in which he denied his involvement in the assassination attempt on Kadyrov.

The whereabouts of the third person on Kadyrov's blood feud list, Senator Suleiman Kerimov, is also unknown. According to MarineTraffic, Kerimov's yacht, Ice, is currently moored in Marmaris, Turkey.

On October 9, Ramzan Kadyrov accused Senator Suleiman Kerimov, as well as State Duma deputies Bekkhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov, of ordering his murder. The head of Chechnya declared a blood feud against them unless they could prove their innocence. After that, Kurbanov and Barakhoev stated on video that they had nothing to do with the preparation of the assassination attempt. Suleiman Kerimov has not spoken publicly on this topic. At the same time, many officials from Dagestan, including the head of the region, Sergei Melikov, published posts in which they expressed support for Kerimov.
