The son of the head of Chechnya, who recently reached adulthood, has been appointed deputy minister of sports

18-year-old Akhmat Kadyrov, the son of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, was appointed first deputy minister of the republic for physical education, sports and youth policy. Previously, the teenager was an assistant to the head of Chechnya and chairman of the board of the regional branch of the pro-Kremlin youth “Movement of the First.”

“I am confident that the appointment to this responsible post will help improve the level and quality of the ministry’s activities in the development of sports, the implementation of youth policy, and the patriotic, spiritual and moral education of the younger generation,” noted Chairman of the Chechen Parliament Magomed Daudov.

Recently, Akhmat Kadyrov, together with his brothers Adam and Eli, was awarded the highest order of the Chechen parliament “Daimekhkan Siy” (“Honor of the Fatherland”). Moreover, 15-year-old Adam has recently received six different awards and titles. These are the Order of Merit for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Order of Duslyk (the second most important state award of Tatarstan), the Order of Merit for the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the Order of Merit for the Umma, 1st degree, the title of Hero of Chechnya.

Ramzan Kadyrov recently awarded his nephew and advisor-assistant, 26-year-old Khamzat Kadyrov, the title “Hero of Chechnya.” Previously, he received the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, from the President of the Russian Federation.
