Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.

The Presidium of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation condemned anti-Semitic incidents in Dagestan. Muslim leaders emphasize that attempts to turn political conflicts into an interreligious war must not be allowed.

Earlier, the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, accused Ukraine of organizing anti-Semitic riots in Makhachkala.
The riots began on the evening of October 29. Several hundred pro-Palestinian people came to greet the plane from Israel. Those gathered looked for Jews, checked passports, stopped cars, broke fences, and threw stones at security forces.
