A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation recognized Magomed Hajiyev, a former deputy of the Duma, as a foreign agent of four convocations from Dagestan, member of «United Russia». According to the Russian authorities, outside the Russian Federation, he allegedly expressed willingness to cooperate with foreign politicians and expressed support for Ukraine in order to obtain foreign citizenship.
The media abroad published a tape of Hajiyev actually saying that he was ready to cooperate with foreign agencies. The Romanian edition of RBN reported that the ex-deputy «attempted to obtain European citizenship in exchange for providing them with information about the Russian authorities».
Abroad, Hajiyev has real estate and lives a family. At the same time, it is known that before his departure he sent humanitarian aid to Donbass.
