Former Sports Minister of Dagestan forced former employees to forge documents to defend themselves in court

Former head of the Sports Ministry of Dagestan and the city of Kizilyurt Magomed Magomedov threatened current employees of the department and demanded that they forge documents to defend themselves in court. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to media reports, after his dismissal, Magomedov gave instructions to his former subordinates and threatened to punish those who did not agree.

Earlier, it was reported that the former minister cut himself in a cell in the Moscow pretrial detention center "Matrosskaya Tishina". According to RIA Novosti, his life was not in danger.

The former official will remain in the pretrial detention center until November 14. According to the entry in the card index of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow, he is charged with embezzlement or misappropriation on an especially large scale, assistance to terrorism, illegal circulation of firearms, their main parts and ammunition, as well as murder in a generally dangerous manner of two or more persons by an organized group by prior conspiracy (Articles 160, 205.1, 222, 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
