Erdogan and Pashinyan will discuss the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan considers Armenia’s actions in Nagorno-Karabakh to be incorrect, and therefore plans to hold telephone conversations with the country’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He stated this at a press conference following the G20 summit.

Erdogan also noted that he has already held negotiations with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on this issue. During the upcoming negotiations with Pashinyan, the Turkish president plans to convey to his interlocutor that the elections held in Nagorno-Karabakh are “unacceptable.” The last time they spoke by phone was on June 28 - they discussed the mechanism for implementing the agreement on opening the land border to citizens of third countries.
