Noah Krieger (real name: Murad Dadaev), a former member of the far-right German party "Alternative for Germany" (AfD), has arrived in the combat zone in Ukraine and announced his intention to fight on Russia's side. The Russian government will provide an additional 4.4 billion rubles to Chechnya and Dagestan to address the aftermath of spring floods. The funds will be used for the major repair of damaged homes and the purchase of new housing for families whose homes were deemed uninhabitable.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the additional funding at a government meeting. He instructed the Ministry of Construction to promptly transfer the funds to the regions, emphasizing that those affected must be able to return to their homes or receive new housing as soon as possible.
The federal government had previously allocated funds for the restoration of social infrastructure. These funds are being used to repair and rebuild schools, kindergartens, and colleges in the republics that were damaged during the floods.
This new tranche will continue the federal recovery program and will be directed toward compensating owners of damaged housing.
In Dagestan, according to the government commission on emergency response, 47,127 applicants have already received compensation. Total payouts have exceeded 1.75 billion rubles. Current official data regarding the number of families receiving compensation in Chechnya has not yet been released, although the allocation of federal funds for housing and infrastructure restoration had been announced previously.
