The Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov Regional Public Foundation plans to provide humanitarian assistance to up to 1 million people in the Gaza Strip, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel.

Kadyrov said 1,514 families in western and eastern parts of the besieged enclave received assistance during the latest phase of the foundation's humanitarian programme.

Of those, 500 families received aid in the Al-Manara area of western Gaza, while another 500 were assisted in the eastern part of the enclave, including in the Al-Shishan camps, which Kadyrov referred to as "Chechen camps", and in the Az-Zeitoun area. Another 514 families received assistance at the Al-Maina camp in western Gaza.

Kadyrov did not specify what the latest aid shipments contained.

He said the foundation was continuing to expand the geographical scope of its humanitarian programme, including to camps housing displaced people. Its ultimate goal, he said, was to provide essential supplies to up to 1 million residents of Gaza.

The programme is being carried out at the direction of foundation president Aimani Kadyrova, while its implementation is overseen by Adam Kadyrov, an aide to the Chechen leader and secretary of the republic's Security Council, Ramzan Kadyrov said.

The Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov Foundation has repeatedly reported sending humanitarian aid to Gaza amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the enclave.

Gaza's Health Ministry has said that 1,258 people have been killed and another 4,145 wounded in Israeli attacks since a ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 2025. The ministry has put the overall death toll in Gaza since October 2023 at 73,386, with 174,256 people wounded. These figures are reported by Gaza's Health Ministry and have not been independently verified.
