A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan are ready for long-term peace in the region. This was stated by EU President Charles Michel after trilateral talks in Brussels. All items on the agenda were considered at the meeting, as Michel noted following the results of his conversations with Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev.
It was stated that the European Union is committed to assisting Yerevan and Baku in achieving a comprehensive normalization of relations. The parties recorded progress in resolving issues related to the delimitation of borders. The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan also expressed their commitment to the Alma-Ata Declaration, which implies mutual recognition of territorial integrity.
Issues related to the unblocking of transport communications and economic ties in the region, the return of prisoners and humanitarian problems were also discussed in Brussels. The next tripartite talks will take place in July.
